AP PCC chief YS Sharmila spoke at length regarding the diversion tactics of the alliance government regarding Polavaram project. Sharmila alleged that Polavaram which is vital for Andhra Pradesh is being shrunk into a lift irrigation project.
She pointed out that none of the MPs belonging to YSRCP, BJP, TDP or JanaSena dared to question the BJP government at the Center due to their personal agendas.
Sharmila said that loans were being raised for the capital when construction of the capital was a promise made by the Center during division of the state. In 10 years, nothing happened in Amaravati, said Sharmila.
When a reporter asked her about Pawan Kalyan’s silence on these contentious issues, Sharmila smiled and made an interesting statement.
The AP PCC chief said it is not clear if Pawan Kalyan is in JanaSena or the BJP. She said people of Andhra Pradesh are also confused regarding the same.
In the past too Sharmila had alleged that instead of ‘fighting’ for issues, Pawan Kalyan was carrying forward the BJP’s Hindutva stand setting aside JanaSena’s political agenda.
