There are two strong contenders from the TDP to contest the Anakapalli Parliament seat. One is Chintakayala Vijay, the son of TDP senior leader Chintakayala Ayyannapaathrudu, and the other is businessman Byra Dilip Chakravarthy.
If the TDP decides to allocate two tickets to the Ayyannapaathrudu family, then Vijay will become the MP candidate for the Anakapalli Parliament seat, with Narsipatnam being assigned to Ayyannapaathrudu.
However, Byra Dileep Chakravarthi has also expressed his interest in contesting from Anakapalli. He is a businessman and currently serves as the Managing Director of MetroMedi, a supplier of medical equipment to hospitals. Additionally, he holds a position as a guest faculty member at the Indian School of Business (ISB).
Reportedly, Chakravarthy maintains good relations with various political parties. Byra Chakravarthy is closely associated with CBN and Allu Aravind as well. He hails from the Kapu community in the Northern Andhra region.
When comparing Vijay and Chakravarthy as potential contenders for the Anakapalli seat, Chakravarthy appears to have a stronger chance of securing the Anakapalli MP ticket.
