
The Telangana sub-committee has decided to develop an IT hub in Puppalaguda. They decided to establish a Knowledge hub in 450 acres to provide jobs for 5 lakh youth in the first phase.
They shared that the Hub would push the development of Hyderabad. A meeting was held headed by Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka along with Minister IT D Sridhar Babu, Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari and revenue and industries officials.

In the past, the government had alloted 200 acres under various societies for MLAs, MPs, IAS officers and Revenue officials. Recently, the Supreme Court cancelled them.
Adjoining the land, there is a 250 acre land parcel belonging to Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation. So, the Knowledge hub will be developed in 450 acre land, the ministers said.

In the past, under ex CM Nedurumalli Janardhan Reddy, Hi-Tec city came into existence and Financial District was developed. Hyderabad has kept pace with all IT developments that happened across the world. We are now focusing on making use of developments due to growth of AI, said the cabinet committee.
