
Multiple Production Houses of Tollywood have come under Income Tax Department Radar today. The Department Sleuths are raiding the properties of Dil Raju’s SVC, Mythri Movie Makers, Abhishek Agarwal, Vriddhi Cinemas (RC16 Producers) and others.
It is said that the Raids pertaining to Mythri are about their recent Blockbuster, Pushpa 2 investments and collections. We have seen the makers releasing the posters to the extent of 2000 Crore.

The Department is verifying how the accounts are maintained. How the producers pooled finances for the project? And if the movie business and collections are completely accounted for in the Books.
The big payments to Allu Arjun and Sukumar are also under scanner and the department is verifying if the payments are made using unaccounted cash.

The IT Sleuths knocked the doors of Mythri‘s Offices and the residences of the Producers Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili.
Venkata Satish Kilaru, a partner of Mythri (the producer of RC16) is also under scanner. The Department has also raided his Vriddhi Infratech offices as well. His partner and Executive Director Kavuru Suresh Kumar is also under the radar.

Raids are also on a Person who oversees the Marketing of the films made by Mythri Movie Makers. The Department suspects this person to know about all the transactions of Mythri.
Financier Satya Rangaiah is also under the scanner. He is the regular financier of Dil Raju, Mythri, UV Creations, and many other production houses.
It looks like the Department is acting on a Specific Tip off and the raids are expected to go on for a couple of days or even more.
