A Rs 328 crore luxury line ITC hotel is coming up in Visakhapatnam. Along with the ITC hotel, another commercial property is also being developed in Siripuram. Both projects have applied for environmental clearances.
The ITC property will feature G+13 floors with a built up area of 44,040 sq m. It is planned on Waltair Road in Siripuram, one of the busiest commercial zones in the city.
Vizag is now being developed as the AI and IT capital of Andhra Pradesh. Major tech companies like Google and Meta are setting up a data center and an undersea cable Waterworth respectively in Vizag. This is opening new doors for business growth in the Port city.
With these developments, top executives and professionals tied to tech companies are expected to fly in and out of Vizag frequently. This creates strong demand for premium hospitality services.
Novatel and The Park already operate hotels in Vizag. The entry of ITC is expected to meet the growing need for luxury-line hotels in Visakhapatnam.
