From flying a helicopter from a distance of four hundred kilometers to covering a distance of two kilometers in a chopper, Jagan Mohan Reddy has now traveled a distance of two hundred kilometers by road.
And that too on Pulivendula – Kadiri road that shows hell to the commuters with potholes.
The former Chief Minister stayed for two days in Pulivendula. The initial plan was to stay there for five days but he decided to go to Bengaluru on the second day itself because it was difficult for him to stay when his own party leaders were pressuring him over pending bills.
There are pending bills worth 100 Crore in Pulivendula Municipality alone.
When in power, Jagan always used Special flights for his travel. He used Choppers even to go to the short distances. We have seen the Government rent a chopper for his election campaign.
But once in Opposition, Jagan has become kanjoos because it is his own money, and has traveled by car.
Jagan arranged flights from Kadapa to Bangalore by giving viability gap funding. But he did not choose them because they are one-stop flights. First, they go to Chennai and then they go to Bangalore. It takes at least four hours.
He decided to leave for Bangalore by road in the afternoon.
People, however, were happy that at least he came to know about their suffering all these years due to bad roads during his rule.
Meanwhile, there are rumors that Jagan will stay put in his Yelahanka Palace for the next five years as he fears surveillance from Chandrababu Naidu Government and Revanth Reddy Government if he chooses Tadepalli or Hyderabad.
