Jagan Laid A Trap, TDP Should Realize!

YS Jagan

It’s been more than forty days since Chandrababu Naidu was jailed in a flimsy case. Chandrababu prefers to get the case quashed rather than going for a bail and that is delaying the process of his release. Arguments concluded in the Supreme Court over the quash petition in the Skill Development case and the judgment is reserved.

It is not known when the judgment will be given and some say it will be only on November 8th which means an eternity to go from here.

TDP has come to a standstill after Chandrababu’s arrest. Chandrababu’s Bhavishyattu Ku Guarantee tour got postponed obviously and Lokesh had to stop his Yuvagalam Padayatra indefinitely. Lokesh is staying in Delhi these days so as to coordinate with the legal teams.

As a result, the activity has almost become zero. In the initial days of Chandrababu’s arrest, supporters and sympathizers have resorted to protests but naturally, they can not go on forever. This is exactly what Jagan wanted and it is going as per the plan.

The idea is to hamper TDP’s preparation and kill the momentum with elections fast approaching.

On the other side, Jagan is busy with party programs and he himself is attending at least one public meeting a week.

It’s high time TDP realizes the trap it is walking into. Lokesh and the party should believe this crisis will continue for some more days. We do not know but November 8th is still a long way to go and even on that day, there can be an adverse judgment.

So, it’s better they focus on on-ground activity. The planned tours of Bhuvaneshwari and Lokesh should kickstart immediately. TDP has been hinting about these programs for a month now but they are getting postponed repeatedly.

The longer this inactivity continues, the chances are high it can change the public perception about the Opposition.
