AP PCC chief YS Sharmila who does not leave a chance to blast YS Jagan, has said that Jagan lacks the guts to fight BJP.
She said, even today, Jagan Mohan Reddy carefully and selectively targets Chandrababu, but never utters a word against BJP.
In the past too, Sharmila had called Jagan a puppet in the hands of BJP. She had claimed that Jagan had a back-door tie-up with the BJP.
Sharmila was talking to media at Vijayawada and said Congress was the only party that had the guts to fight the BJP. Be it issues relating to the Constitution or regarding state reorganisation rights, Congress is the only party that has countered the BJP, said Sharmila.
The PCC chief said she travelled 2500 km in June alone and added that she spoke to people in 26 districts of the state and got first-hand information about their problems.
I will ensure that the Congress regains its past glory, said Sharmila. She slammed the BJP and PM Modi for not keeping up the state division promises. Sharmila pointed out that the Congress was the only party which can take on BJP.
Chandrababu, Pawan Kalyan, Jagan are in no position to counter Modi, she said. Though Modi was in power thanks to Chandrababu, Chandrababu was not putting pressure on Modi for the state, said the Congress leader.
