Andhra Pradesh is slowly getting into the election mode with the main parties locking their election plans and strategies. In connection with this, Jagan has thrown a paltry pre-election gift to volunteers.

With three months to go for the election, Jagan has decided to increase the salary of volunteers by Rs 750. They will be receiving Rs 5750 salary from the 1st of January.

YCP MLAs and leaders have already dropped enough hints with their public statements that volunteers should work in accordance with YCP’s interests in the coming election. And now, Jagan has decided to give a small gift to volunteers by bumping up their salary by Rs 750 in the lead-up to the election.

Pawan Kalyan had already alleged that the YCP government is using volunteers to collect public data and the same could be misused to influence voting trends in the coming election.

The allegation is that these volunteers collect the data regarding elections by assessing who is YCP loyalist, who is opposition loyalist, and who is neutral. This could be used by YCP to categorize voters and come up with a relevant plan to influence the voters.
