YS Sharmila will be joining the Congress Party tomorrow in Delhi. She is expected to meet Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi later in the evening. There is a strong buzz that she will be made the PCC President of the Andhra Pradesh Unit.
The plan is to divide the YSR Congress Votebank which is originally Congress’s.
There are rumors that a few YSR Congress MLAs are ready to sail with Sharmila. Mangalagiri MLA RK already announced the same.
So, tomorrow will be a Big Political Event in Andhra Pradesh.
It looks like Jagan Mohan Reddy is desperate to shift the Public and Media attention from that event.
Reports are that Jagan is likely to fly to Hyderabad and meet Former Chief Minister KCR who underwent surgery last month.
Jagan wants the media attention to their meeting ignoring Sharmila joining Congress.
But then, the idea maybe not as effective as Jagan believes.
After the election defeat, KCR is a spent force and their meeting is unlikely to evoke any extraordinary media or public attention.
That is because KCR is in the Opposition now and he can not influence the Andhra Pradesh elections in any way like how he did in 2019.
