It appears like the alliance of TDP and Janasena ruffled the feathers of the YSR Congress.
Jagan Mohan Reddy especially seems to be worried about the Kapu community rallying with TDP after the alliance.
He tried to invoke Kapu sentiment by taking the name of Vangaveeti Ranga.
“What did these people do to Kapus? Is Chandrababu not behind Vangaveeti Ranga’s murder? For that reason, the Kapu community is considering them as staunch enemies,” Jagan Mohan Reddy said in Kuppam Public meeting.
Talking about Vangaveeti Radha’s murder seems to be the desperation of Jagan.
Keeping aside what happened back then. It is commonly agreed that the murder happened because of the tiff between Vangaveeti and Devineni families.
Devineni Nehru is one of the thirty-three accused in the murder case.
After Vangaveeti Ranga’s murder, Devineni Nehru is in Congress for around nineteen years. He was with Jagan’s father, YSR from 1997 to his death in 2009.
Devineni Nehru’s son, Devineni Avinash is currently in YSR Congress. He is likely to be the party’s candidate for Vijayawada East or Penamaluru.
Meanwhile, Vangaveeti Ranga’s son, Vangaveeti Radha was in YSR Congress between 2012 and 2019. He was insulted and sent out of the party.
We also know how Jagan gave a big nominated post to Goutham Reddy who made insulting comments on Vangaveeti Ranga.
After doing all this, Jagan wants to use Vangaveeti Ranga’s issue for Political Benefit.
There is a saying in Telugu – గురివింద గింజ తన నలుపు ఎరుగదులే! It fits aptly to Jagan.
