The volunteer system and its method of operation have come under the pump after Pawan Kalyan complained about the illicit public data collection that is being done through the same.
Now, Nadendla Manohar has alleged that the Jagan government is spending Rs 1560 crore per year only on this volunteer program and he went on to claim that Rs 617 crore is being spent on public data collection.
“Who gave the legal authorization for the volunteer system? Who is responsible for all the public data that these volunteers are collecting? Where is all the data being stored? Why is Jagan spending Rs 617 crores every year on collecting public data?” Nadendla questioned.
Nadendla said YCP leaders and supporters themselves need to carefully think about these questions before crying foul on Pawan Kalyan and JSP leaders for bringing up an important topic.
This is clearly a topic that needs to be addressed by the opposition parties as data misuse is a relevant topic and it is time for this to be taken into the public. This public data can be used to influence the polling trends and the opposition parties must be aware of the same, commented a JSP supporter.
