
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has been trying to the corner the BJP using the Delimitation. Stalin arranged an All-Party meeting on the issue calling the South Indian States to unite against the Delimitation.
There are apprehensions that Delimitation based on Population will decrease the MP Seats in the South because the states in the South have implemented strict Population Control measures while in the North, Population increased without any control.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan also attended the meeting. Former Telangana Minister KTR has also attended the meeting.
Invitations have gone to the Ruling and the Opposition Parties of Andhra Pradesh as well. TDP did not attend the meeting for obvious reasons because it is in alliance with the BJP.

Chandrababu Naidu was one of the first leaders to talk about the Possibility of South running into issues with the Delimitation. But now he does not want to be a part of the Opposition meeting targeting Political Mileage.
On the other side, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is in a spot of bother. He wants to be a part the Opposition alliance now that the BJP is on TDP’s Side.

But then, he does not want to offend Narendra Modi and Amit Shah by attending the meeting. As that may risk accelerating the cases pending on him.
So, he chose a midway. He wrote a letter to the Prime Minister to address the concerns of the Southern States and urged him to ensure the South is not penalized for implementing the Population Control.
In that way, he made the Opposition Block happy and at the same time did not offend the BJP by being a part of the meeting that is dominated by anti-BJP Parties.
The second meeting on this issue will happen in Hyderabad. It has to be see what Jagan Mohan Reddy will come up that day.
