YS Jagan Mohan Reddy announced the candidates for 175 MLA and 24 MP seats in one go. Only the candidate for the Anakapalli Parliament is kept pending.
There are rumors that CM Ramesh will contest from Anakapalli on the BJP ticket.
Meanwhile, there are rumors that the YSR Congress is in touch with Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy, the former TDP MLA from Pendurthi to join their party.
Bandaru did not get a ticket in TDP and YSR Congress is trying to attract him.
It is interesting to note that Bandaru was arrested by the Jagan Government after he called Roja “a woman of the street.” He is currently out on bail.
He claimed that he was in possession of her pornographic videos, and threatened to leak them and “drive Roja and her husband to suicide” if she didn’t stop speaking about jailed former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and his family members in a derogatory way.
Roja even filed a defamation suit against the former MLA.
YSR Congress, back then, termed Bandaru as a weed who should be ridden out of society.
Now, Jagan wants the same weed to be the Anakapalli candidate of his party.
