Arava Sreedhar has been in the news over the past few days for controversial reasons. The Kodur MLA is currently facing a three member committee appointed to examine his conduct.
Amid the ongoing developments, Arava Sreedhar requested the media not to associate his party with reports related to the allegations. He stated that the issue is personal between the accuser and the accused.
He further asked the media not to mention the party name in news updates. According to him, the matter should not be given a political colour.
On Tuesday, the three member committee reached Railway Kodur and summoned the MLA. There are allegations of sexual assault and cheating against Arava Sreedhar.
After initial silence from Jana Sena Party, the party constituted the committee to question the MLA. The objective was to hear his version of events.
The committee also questioned 40 Jana Sainiks. They were asked about Arava Sreedhar’s behaviour, attitude, and interaction with the public.
Later in the evening, the committee summoned Sreedhar again for further questioning. The inquiry reportedly took place between 12 pm and 7 pm.
The committee is expected to submit its report to Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan. The leadership will decide the next course of action.
The committee has decided to stay back in Railway Kodur on Wednesday to gather more details. Pawan Kalyan is known for taking strict disciplinary action against those who violate party principles.
Many are closely watching how the case will progress in the coming days.
