Things have not been going well within the Mega and Allu families for quite some time. Ever since Allu Arjun campaigned for Nandyala YCP contestant Silpa Ravi during the elections earlier this year, Pawan Kalyan’s supporters were upset with him. For the last few days, many Mega fans have also openly stated that they won’t support Pushpa 2.

Meanwhile, a local Janasena leader, Ramesh Babu, in Andhra Pradesh is threatening to ban Pushpa 2 in the state. He stated that they will not allow the screening of Pushpa 2: The Rule in the Gannavaram constituency.

“We dislike Allu Arjun’s attitude. Despite growing up in the Mega compound and rising to stardom with the support of Chiranjeevi garu, he is not showing respect to the Mega family,” said Ramesh Babu.

“During the elections, Allu Arjun intentionally campaigned against the Janasena party. I am warning Allu Arjun now that we will not be putting up flexis or posters for Allu Arjun’s movie. We will not permit any theaters in our region to screen the film. At least for the first three days, we will see to it that the film is not screened,” he declared.

He also demanded that Allu Arjun wipe the feet of Megastar Chiranjeevi and tender an apology to Pawan Kalyan and Naga Babu. Only then, he said, would they consider screening Pushpa 2 in theaters or outright ban it. Pushpa 2 is slated for a worldwide release tomorrow, with premieres held today.
