Janasena’s Seats: BJP Allotted Losing Seats?

BJP-Janasena-Alliance-Telangana

Telangana BJP and Janasena have allied with each other for the upcoming Assembly elections. BJP has given 11 seats to Janasena as a part of seat-sharing (Total 119).

The seats are Kukatpally, Serlingampally, Malkajgiri, Nampally, Thandur, Kodad, Nagarkurnool, Khammam, Wyra, Kothagudem, and Aswaraopeta.

But then, going by the seats, it looks like BJP allotted losing seats to Janasena.

At least six to seven of these eleven seats have Settlers and Kamma voters’ impact and four seats again have communist influence that is always against the BJP.

Kamma voters are tilting towards Congress in this election. Janasena candidates here can be vote-cutters but are very unlikely to win.

The communist seats will naturally go against Janasena.

That indicates that the BJP is trying to use Janasena to defeat Congress if possible but has no intention of making Janasena win.

They will also blame the TDP did not influencing Kamma voters in favor of Janasena and would try to create issues between TDP and Janasena in Andhra Pradesh.

Kamma voters have decided their choice in Telangana for a strong reason, the TDP – Janasena alliance in Andhra Pradesh is immaterial for them at this stage. They would have considered if TDP and Janasena contested together. But they naturally do not have an obligation when TDP is not contesting and Janasena is allying with BJP.
