JSP Demands Two Seats in Kadapa District

JanaSena Party

With just two months left for the general elections in Andhra Pradesh, the TDP and Janasena have not yet reached an understanding on an alliance. There are numerous rumors circulating among district leaders regarding seat sharing.

Reportedly, Janasena aims to contest in two assembly segments in Joint Kadapa District, where the Settibalija community has shown some impact, particularly in Chittoor and Kadapa districts of Rayalaseema.

According to sources, Janasena is demanding the Rajampet and Railway Kodur segments in Kadapa District. The Balija Community holds significant influence in these two segments. In Rajampet, both Janasena and TDP have strong aspirants.

Three members from Janasena and three from TDP are reportedly vying to contest in Rajampet. Recently, an officer who resigned from state services joined Janasena in the presence of Pawan Kalyan.

Despite Chandrababu Naidu (CBN) announcing the Rajampet MP ticket to Narahari a year ago, Narahari wishes to contest from the Rajampet Assembly seat. Former MLC Chengalraayudu is also in the race for the TDP ticket.

While TDP has not officially assigned two tickets to Janasena, it is anticipated that either Kodur or Rajampet will be allocated to Janasena as part of the alliance. The seat-sharing negotiations remain a crucial aspect as the elections approach.
