
The Mangalagiri Court has given 14-day remand to VVR Krishnam Raju who is now known all over the Telugu states and the country for his rather disgust-inducing comments on Amaravati women.
Krishnam Raju was arrested near Visakhapatnam by Tulluru police and presented before the Court on Thursday afternoon. After hearing both sides, the Court imposed remand till June 26.

Krishnam Raju has been shifted to Guntur jail. It is known that Sakshi TV anchor KSR is already in remand in the same case. While KSR was arrested at his residence, Krishnam Raju was absconding.
There are many who feel the words were put into the mouth of Krishnam Raju, but the fact remains that Krishnam Raju was the one who called Amaravati women prostitutes on live television.

The anger and pain that his words caused can be seen as the helpless Amaravati women are protesting against the brash behaviour of the two journalists.
Both NHRC and NCW have taken suo moto cognizance of the matter and issued directives to police to take action on both the journalists.

The citizens of Andhra Pradesh and leaders are demanding action, so that no one dares to indulge in such cheap talk again.
