In a one-of-its-kind robbery, a thief entered the house of businessman SNS Raju who lives on Rd No 52, Jubilee Hills. The man entered the house and held Raju’s daughter with a knife at her throat and later demanded money.
Finally, he went away with Rs 10 lakh. Ironically, he did not take all the gold and diamonds in the house but wanted cash. He also spoke to Navya, SNS Raju’s daughter, and roamed the entire house and drank a complete bottle of liquor.
He entered the house around 2 pm and stayed in the house till the early hours. Navya is pregnant and was staying with her parents when the robbery took place. The man chatted with somebody while there and even booked an Ola cab and left the place.
However, the incident has raised many questions. For starters, Navya did not call the police immediately after he left. The thief told her that he was from Nanded and had lost his wife and children and that he was in dire need of money. He enquired about Navya’s four-year-old daughter and sister and told her that he knew all details about the family.
Before entering the house, he did a check by entering the house at around 10.30. Though the maid saw him, she later told the police that she thought it was their relative’s driver. The police immediately got into action and are on a massive hunt.
It was seen that the thief went to a store in Shadnagar and bought a lot of things and then left the store around the afternoon. The hunt is still on.
