Junior NTR fans stormed MLA Daggupati Prasad‘s camp office, forcing police to step in. Tension rose after the MLA’s recent remarks on Junior NTR sparked outrage among fans across the district.
A large group gathered outside the office demanding an apology. Police tried to stop them, which led to a brief scuffle. Fans shouted slogans on the road and demanded MLA Daggubati apologise publicly and resign from his post.
Earlier this week, District Presidents of NTR’s Fans Associations held a press meet in Hyderabad. They demanded a public apology from the MLA and warned of serious consequences if he failed to respond.
Most fan leaders at the press meet stayed cautious. They avoided criticising the government directly and kept the issue limited to the MLA’s remarks. A deadline was set for the apology, which expired today.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu summoned MLA Daggupati to Amaravati and sought clarification over the controversy. The CM expressed anger at the MLA for creating unnecessary problems and group politics within the party.
