Karumuru Venkat Reddy arrested by police

YSRCP official spokesperson Karumuru Venkat Reddy was arrested by the Tadapatri police in Hyderabad. Several cases were already pending against him. He was detained from Kukatpally.

The main complainant in the Tirumala parakamani case, Satish Kumar, was found murdered near a railway track on 14 November in Tadipatri. AP police are investigating the case. At the same time, allegations surfaced that Venkat Reddy used harsh words against CM Chandrababu.

After the Kurnool bus accident, he was accused of making inappropriate remarks about the CM. These comments were said to have brought disrepute to the government. This added pressure to the ongoing cases.

Tadipatri TDP leader Prasad Naidu filed a complaint against Venkat Reddy with the Rural police. Based on this complaint, Tadipatri Rural police registered a case. Police began tracing his movements soon after.

Using cellphone signal data, officers located him at Marine Skies apartments in Kukatpally. He was arrested on Tuesday morning. His role in various allegations will now be examined further.

Satish Kumar was a key figure in the parakamani investigation. He had turned approver in the case. He died while travelling to appear before a committee, raising more questions in the ongoing probe.
