The Congress party did not have a favourable result in the Hyderabad city urban region in the earlier assembly election. There is a lot of catching up to do for the Congress party under the leadership of Revanth Reddy to capture the Hyderabad urban voters.
However, there is this one particular calculation that was done by Hyderabad traffic police, which has resulted in a lot of public backlash in the first few hours itself.
The traffic diversion that has been arranged at the famous KBR Park in Banjara Hills, which is at the heart of Hyderabad has gone badly already.
The KBR one way traffic arrangement began on Tuesday to facilitate flyover and underpass construction, leaving commuters confused and struggling during office hours as police managed jams and guided motorists.
The worst-hit section was between Indo-American Hospital Circle and Jubilee Hills Road No. 45, where it took nearly 30 minutes to cover just 3 km.
This can lead to a lot of public backlash in the days to follow this is something that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy must be aware of.
It is a fact that such roadway problems cannot be directly linked to the chief minister. But the thinking pattern of the public is such that any public problem that comes up, including road, transport, electricity or anything for that matter would be linked directly to the chief minister.
Traffic police might have to make alternate arrangements at the earliest as this does not look like a sustainable procedure.
