Revanth Reddy Must Resign? What’s His Reaction?

Revanth Reddy on Education portfolio resignation

Telangana chief minister Revanth Reddy has been holding multiple portfolios along with his position as the chief minister of this state. Education and general home affairs are two of the many of the portfolios he currently holds.

Interestingly, a political narrative was being built against Revanth Reddy in relation to the recent Delhi protest.

The opposition parties floated this narrative, saying that union education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned his position due to the mishaps in education system and hence, Revanth Reddy must also quit his position as a moral revert to allegations in the Telangana education system.

There wasn’t much of a public commotion on this aspect, but Revanth Reddy has still decided to react on the same while interacting at a public conference today.

Revanth Reddy said it is preposterous to see the opposition parties demand his resignation while covering him to union minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The CM said he doesn’t understand why they are asking him to leave education ministry and give it someone else.

“Right from the breakfast that is supplied to students at government schools to completely upscaling and reforming the higher education ITIs, I’ve worked so hard for the education system in Telangana. Are they demanding me to resign for fighting so hard for Telangana’s academic integrity?” Revanth questioned.

It is indeed a fact that Revanth had been focusing extensively on education system and he had recently even inspector government school facilities by checking the breakfast program. The higher education had anyways been properly funded here in the state.

Revanth Reddy has made it extremely clear that he has no intention of leaving the education ministry, despite the narrative that is being set by the opposition.
