KCR Defers Date: Is it Due to Muhurtam?

KCR Defers Date

BRS chief, ex Telangana CM KCR agreed to appear before the one-man commission of PC Ghose, is known. Almost two meetings with ex minister Harish Rao were held at his Erravelli farmhouse.

The Telangana people were surprised the BRS head honcho did not resist attending the summons regarding the Kaleshwaram project. Both KTR and Kavitha called it an act of political vengeance on the part of Revanth Reddy government.

In fact, after complaining that the BRS cadre didn’t make much noise regarding KCR’s summons, Kavitha will be taking up a dharna on June 4. She will be extending her solidarity to her father.

But the big news today is that KCR has deferred the date of his appearance. Initially, KCR was supposed to appear before the Kaleshwaram commission on June 5.

Now, KCR has said he will appear on June 11 and the commission has agreed. Harish Rao will be appearing on June 9. So, is it a wait and watch game to see what kind of questions the commission will ask?

But those in political circles feel it could be due to KCR’s belief in muhurtams. In the past too there have been stories of KCR performing yagas and poojas to ensure he remains in power.

It is known all over Telangana that KCR performed Chandi yagams to become the CM of Telangana. So is this his way of appearing on the ‘right day at the right time’ to avoid unwanted consequences?
