KCR’s Federal Front Trials Continue To Meet Roadblocks

MK Stalin -KCR Federal Front Trials Continue To Meet RoadblocksTelangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao has met Tamil Nadu Opposition Leader, MK Stalin the other day to discuss his Federal Front Idea. DMK and Congress contested together in the Parliament Elections and KCR has tried to woo DMK into a non-BJP and non-Congress front.

However, in a major embarrassment for KCR, Stalin a little while ago said it is an insignificant meeting. “He did not come to Tamil Nadu to form fronts. He came to visit temples. He wanted to meet me. It was a courtesy visit,” Stalin told the media. He also added that he believes that a non-BJP and a non-Congress front is not possible.

TRS sources also leaked about KCR in touch with Karnataka Chief Minister Kumaraswamy. However, Karnataka CMO condemned any such talks of Federal Front and clarified that there is no change in their party stance of supporting Rahul Gandhi as the Prime Minister Candidate.

KCR is banking on the fact that between TRS, YSRCP, MIM, DMK, and JD(S), there will be close to 70 MPs from south India. The Telangana CM wants to leverage the power of this bloc to negotiate a good deal. The impression gaining ground is that KCR is trying to see himself in a bigger role
