Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao this morning inaugurated the newly acquired cars for the Police department. The first bunch of Innova cars were flagged off by the Chief Minister this morning at Tank Bund. However a mishap took place in the parade. One of the vehicle hit another vehicle, even though there are no casualties but one of the vehicles was very much damaged. The bonnet of the vehicle was damaged and oil started leaking from the car.
It is said that the Chief Minister and Police bosses were disappointed with the incident which happened right on the day one. It is said that the officials have taken the issue with the car manufacturer, Toyota. KCR government has ordered 1500 cars for the entire Telangana State and out of which 100 are allotted to Hyderabad and Cyberabad Police. On the occasion of the flagging off parade, KCR announced that his government is committed for the law and order of the state
