BJP has been trying its best to emerge as an opponent to the ruling party in Telangana, TRS. The ruling party forces and both KCR, and KTR too are reciprocating with equal vigour and launching verbal attacks on BJP in public meetings.
Incidentally, BJP Telangana wing chief, Bandi Sanjay had recently commenced a Padayatra(walkathon) in a bid to liberate the alleged corruption rule of TRS
However, KCR seems to be paying very little attention to this local rivalry. He met with the prime minister Narendra Modi today and invited him to Yadadri temple opening which will take place in the next couple of months.
KCR had also discussed several other issues with Modi in this meeting, which went on for roughly 50 minutes. The TRS chief had also requested Modi to allot a piece of land for construction of Telangana Bhavan in Delhi. The prime minister apparently responded positively to this request.
While BJP’s local leadership in Telangana is breathing fire on KCR, the TRS supremo is trying to enter the good books of the saffron party bigwigs in Delhi.
