Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao is coming soon with an English daily, Telangana Today which will be out from August. The Telangana CM wants the paper to be of superior printing quality. Currently Sakshi has the highest quality Printing Press among all Newspapers in Telugu. Sakshi even outsources its Printing Press facility to other Newspapers.

However Telangana CM said a firm NO to this and insisted on having own Printing Press. The New Printing Press for Telangana Today was imported from Germany and is said to be more superior than the one in Sakshi. Telangana Today spent a whopping 50 Crore over the printing machine alone.
There are allegations from TDP that Jagan and KCR work hand in glove to unsettle the yellow party. KCR had decided not to take Sakshi Printing Press services so as not to give any chance to other parties. Telangana Today management also hired a designer from Mumbai to make a dynamic layout and design for the paper.
