Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao was a delighted man when Prime Minister Narendra Modi called him the other day and informed him about NDA’s Presidential Candidate seeking TRS support. KCR’s Office had sent an update to the media that Modi said he chose a Dalit Candidate on the Chief Minister’s advice.

All the media carried the update prominently. But then, it has backfired miserably at the end. Social Media ridiculed how KCR made a Dalit as the First Chief Minister of Telangana and is now making a Dalit as the President of India. BJP is stunned at this fake propaganda of the CM.
In a way, KCR‘s Self-Promotion only reminded people his failed promise. BJP State Leaders are condemning this and are alleging that KCR is trying to rob the credit of Modi. On the other side, all the Telugu Parties – TDP, TRS and YSR Congress are going to support NDA’s Candidate, Ram Nath Kovind.
Polling, if necessary, for the country’s top titular post will take place on 17 July and counting of votes will happen on 20 July. The term of incumbent President Pranab Mukherjee ends on 24 July. The opposition will decide its candidate on 22nd of this month.
