KCR to Follow Chandrababu Naidu Agri StyleAndhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has introduced a separate budget for Agriculture since he came to power in 2014. Now, Telangana Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhara Rao is also keen on following his other Telugu counterpart.

Telangana state government will present a separate Budget for the agriculture sector from the next year and increase allocations significantly. The state government is also planning to set up 2500 clusters of 5000 acres each across the state to guide farmers on which crops to sow and to what extent, to make agriculture profitable.

The state had waived off 17000 crore crop loan arrears of 35 lakh farmers as a part of the loan waiver scheme and has recently announced Free Fertilizers to all the farmers which will cost about 8000 per acre for two crops every year.
