Janga Krishnamurthy Joins TDP

YCP MLC and its BC cell President Janga Krishnamurthy resigned from the party. He sent his resignation letter to the party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Krishnamurthy revealed that he will join the Telugu Desam Party in the presence of Nara Lokesh very soon. He met TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday. He announced his resignation from YCP on Monday. He said that he had to leave YCP to safeguard the self-respect of all leaders and supporters who have been with him over the years.

Krishnamurthy stated that he served TDP from 1985 to 1996. Later, he worked for the Congress before joining the YSR Congress Party in 2014.

He said that the changes that happened in the YCP concerning his Gurajala constituency have hurt his supporters and led him to leave the party. He said that he didn’t resign from any personal position.

He alleged that there is no value for people in YCP who worked for the party since the beginning. He said politics have become business there. Thus, he decided to leave the party upon his well-wishers’ suggestion.
