Kia’s Relocation Rumors Here To Stay?

Kia Shifting Controversy looks like here to stay. After the rumors of the company shifting out of AP appeared in International News Agency like Reuters, the Government resorted to damage control by making the company give condemnation. However, there are speculations if the news is intentionally planted by Kia to rein Jagan’s Government.

And now, another news appeared in Asian Community News, this time quoting Young Kim Moon, President, Southwest Asia, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). He urged the Central Government to make some policy or law where the state government cannot change its commitment made by the previous government.

It will send a negative signal not only to Korea but to other countries too, he warned. This will be detrimental to India’s interests as this is happening at a time when a large number of Korean companies were seriously planning to make a huge investment in the country, he added.

This very much indicates that there is something wrong between Kia and the Andhra Pradesh Government. And the rumors about Kia contemplating to shift of AP did not just drop out of thin air.
