KTR sends defamation notice to Bandi Sanjay

KTR has sent a defamation notice to Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay. In the notice, the BRS working president claimed that the personal attack on him was unnecessary and politically motivated. He accused Bandi Sanjay of making baseless allegations for political gains.

KTR demanded a public apology within one week, warning that failure to do so would lead to both civil and criminal proceedings. He said Bandi Sanjay must take full responsibility for the damage caused by public slandering. KTR added that as a people’s representative, Bandi Sanjay acted irresponsibly.

On August 8, Bandi Sanjay attended a SIT inquiry at Dilkusha Guesthouse. After the session, he addressed the media and made strong remarks against KTR. He claimed that during the BRS regime, phones of leaders including Revanth Reddy and Harish Rao were tapped, and alleged KTR’s involvement in the act.

Bandi Sanjay alleged that the names of certain individuals were placed on a Maoist list to justify phone tapping. He accused KTR of even tapping the phones of close family members, including KCR’s daughter Kavitha, and putting him under surveillance when he was Telangana BJP president.

He further claimed that KTR had the phones of his staff tapped and even targeted ordinary people. The legal notice from KTR has now triggered fresh political buzz, marking an open clash between the two leaders.
