Janasena President Pawan Kalyan met Chandrababu Naidu at the latter’s Undavalli residence and brainstormed about the seat-sharing and the candidates in the second list. Sources say that they concluded the seats Janasena will get as a part of the alliance.
Accordingly, Janasena will contest eleven seats in Godavari districts (East:5, West:6), the highest in the state due to the influence of the Kapu community. It will get four in Vizag and two in Krishna.
Janasena will also get one each in Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Guntur, Prakasam, Anantapur, Chittoor, and Kadapa.
In West Godavari, Janasena is going to get Bhimavaram, Narasapuram, Tadepalligudem, Ungurtur, Nidadavole, and Polavaram (ST). In the East, the party will get Kakinada Rural, Razole (SC), Rajanagaram, Amalapuram/P Gannavaram, and Pitapuram.
In the Vishakapatnam district, the party will be in the fray from Vizag South, Pendurthi/Madugula, Anakapalli, and Yalamanchili.
In Krishna, the party will have candidates in Vijayawada West and Avanigadda.
The rest of the seats are Palakonda (ST) in Srikakulam district, Nelimarla in Vizianagaram district, Tenali in Guntur district, Darsi in Prakasam district, Tirupati in Chittoor district, Anantapur in Anantapur district, and Railway Koduru in Kadapa district.
