Sunil Kanugolu Survey

Sunil Kanugolu, the strategist who was behind the success of the Congress party in Karnataka and Telangana, has come up with a survey regarding the upcoming local body elections in Telangana.

The rumoured survey is now a topic for discussion among political circles. He is said to have advised the Revanth Reddy government that it would be better for him if held the ZPTC and MPTC polls first and then go for the panchayat elections.

His survey says that the farmers feel rythu bharosa is being given only because of the polls. There is strong opposition against the party regarding loan waiver, pensions to old people and buying of paddy.

Kanugolu has also said that the people are not happy with Revanth Reddy for not giving ration cards and pensions. The survey also revealed that the women are disappointed as Revanth renegaded on tulam gold and Rs 2500 Mahalakshmi scheme.

The people opined that Indiramma houses were built in nominal numbers. They were also disappointed with delay in transfer of money for gas cylinders.

The real estate rates have fallen drastically impacting other businesses, citizens felt. Another big issue was the free bus service. Due to this, businesses in villages are suffering, feel people of Telangana.

Barring greater Hyderabad, the survey was held in 80 constituencies. According to Sunil Kanugolu, the Congress will win less than half seats, given the present situation.

It is known that Telangana government will be issuing notification for elections towards the end of this month. The polls will happen next month.




Sources say that the Congress leaders in Gandhi Bhavan are distressed following the survey.
