Is It Fashion Or Passion: Lokesh Fire on YSRCP

Lokesh criticises YSRCP in House

HR & IT Minister Nara Lokesh wondered if the opposition YSRCP had any commitment towards raising public matters on the floor of the House. He said he didn’t know if it one were to call it fashion or passion as YSRCP members walk out of the Council, take a break, have tea and return to the House.

Lokesh said it has become a norm with YSRCP leaders. The HR Minister expressed his anger over these fashion-passion acts. He challenged the YSRCP members to raise issues and use the time to resolve public matters. Lokesh pointed out that the YSRCP leaders simply walked out of the House as a habit.

Lokesh said he was there to discuss and sort out matters. There are issues that need to be addressed. But the YSRCP members do not give scope for a healthy argument over matters. This is not right, said Lokesh.

The YSRCP already has no say in the Lower House due to their head count. The party can take up issues only in the Legislative Council. The HR Minister had to point out that the YSRCP members took more interest in their tea breaks than in raising issues on the floor of the House.
