Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha said a new bill will target online hate and misinformation. She stated that cyber criminals misuse anonymity to spread hate and disturb public harmony, and laws will curb such actions.

On September 26, another case was reported from Marturu mandal. A man named Bhagyarao was arrested for posting abusive comments against the CM and his family. Police seized his phone after a complaint was filed.

While arrests instill fear, the government stressed that public awareness is the real solution to stop the spread of online hate and misinformation.
