Massive Fire Accident Kills Seventeen In Hyderabad

A tragedy took place in the Charminar area of Hyderabad. A major fire accident took place in Gulzar House near Charminar.

The fire broke out on the first floor of the building.

Seventeen people died in the incident. Among the deceased were two children and four women.

This is easily the deadliest fire accident in Hyderabad in recent times.

Many people in the building lost consciousness as they suffered breathlessness due to the smoke that billowed the building after the fire accident.

They were rushed to Osmania, Yashoda (Malakpet), and DRDO Apollo hospitals.

Some died at the scene, while others died while receiving treatment in hospitals.

Officials suspect that a short circuit caused the accident.

Firefighters, DRF, GHMC, and police personnel reached the scene and took rescue measures and brought the fire under control.

Some people in the building were brought out. Rescue measures were taken with ten fire engines.




Locals were having difficulty breathing due to thick smoke in the vicinity of Gulzar House.
