Ever since Pawan Kalyan officially announced the TDP and Janasena alliance during Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest, the next question of curiosity has shifted to how many seats Janasena will contest.
While it will take some time, as elections are not far off, it is too soon to expect any clarity, especially when Chandrababu and the TDP’s legal team are engaged in a legal battle against YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Naga Babu, Pawan Kalyan’s brother, fielded media questions, most of which revolved around seat sharing and how the TDP and JSP will collaborate during the election campaign.
Media personnel asked Nagababu the most obvious question: “You have Sainiks, but there are no leaders in Janasena to contest anywhere.” Nagababu responded by saying that they have Sainiks like Kiran Royal emerging as leaders now.
Media also asked if Pawan Kalyan would contest from Tirupati or leave it to the TDP, to which Nagababu replied that they would make an announcement when the time is right. Nagababu also avoided if JSP will contest in Rayalaseema region.
