YSR Congress and Sakshi remembers ‘Prathyeka Hodha’ when they are in Opposition.
We have seen the Tamasha Jagan Mohan Reddy did between 2014 and 2019 in the name of Special Status. Back then, in every Public meeting, he used to make big claims – “కేంద్రం మెడలు వంచి ప్రత్యేక హోదా తెస్తా”.
Once in power, all that is forgotten and Jagan buried the issue deep in the ground.
Cut to today, Sakshi carried a main page item titled “హోదా ఇవ్వాల్సిందే”.
Readers who glanced at the heading may have thought YSR Congress started the Special Status Drama once again.
But this is even worse. The Hodha they are talking about is the Hodha for Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Sakshi may have got uncomfortable to title the item as ‘Prathipaksha Hodha’ and neatly wrote it as ‘Hodha’.
It is comical that the Opposition Party left aside every single issue pertaining to the people and is solely focused on the Cabinet-Rank Leader of Opposition Status for their Leader.
They did not boycott the Assembly for any serious issue but they want a chair for Jagan that matches Chandrababu.
They want Opposition Leader Status because Jagan can come to the House from a Gate designated to the Chief Minister and the Minister.
They want the Opposition Leader Status so that Jagan can be seated in the Front Row.
While the demand is for the Opposition Leader Status, Some people feel YSR Congress wants the Government not to give it.
That is because Jagan does not want to come to the house and call Raghu Rama Krishna Raju or Ayyannapatrudu as ‘Adhyaksha’. From being a dictator CM, he can stand if the TDP and Janasena MLAs rag him in the Assembly.
