Andhra Pradesh cabinet minister Dharmana Krishna Das has been in the news for a while now, but for bad reasons. He has been desperately trying to bring crowds to his public meetings, but to no avail.
Now, Dharmana has revealed that he will not be contesting in the coming election and said the same to Jagan.

“I have said to Jagan that I won’t contest in the next elections. I have told him I won’t contest and to leave me. I want to take a leave from politics. I have been here for 40 years and want to take a rest.” Dharmana said.
Dharmana claimed that Jagan requested him to stay with the party and contest in the polls one more time. He vows to take a call soon.

The fact that a minister has asked Jagan to leave him from politics and vowed not to contest in the poll from the ruling party doesn’t happen often. This comes after another ex-minister Perni Nani too decided not to contest in the next election. Dies this suggest a downward trend in AP?
