
There is tough fight between candidates in three MLC constituencies in Andhra Pradesh. The MLC elections will happen in combined Guntur-Krishna, East and West Godavari’s Graduates’ and Uttarandhra Teachers’ constituencies on Thursday. The campaigning ended on Tuesday evening.
On behalf of the alliance government, TDP candidates are contesting in two Graduate constituencies. In both places, they are facing tough competition from PDF though the alliance parties have campaigned vigorously in both places.

It’s a triangular fight between candidates in Uttarandhra Teacher’s constituency. TDP and Jana Sena have extended support to APTF candidate here. Incidentally, some BJP members are supporting the PRTU candidate. YSRCP is staying away from MLC polls, as is already known.
From combined Guntur-Krishna constituency and Uttarandhra Teacher’s constituency, present MLCs KS Lakshman Rao and Pakalapati Raghu Varma are contesting once again.

A record 35 members are contesting in East-West Godavari district Graduate constituency, while 25 members are contesting for Krishna-Guntur and 10 people are in race for Uttarandhra Teacher’s constituency.
