In what seems like a disastrous attempt at showing Mr. Modi’s sympathetic side, the Press Information Bureau of India shared a Photoshopped image of the PM looking over Chennai in the midst of the floods.

The unexpected heavy rainfall in Tamil Nadu recently caused flooding in its capital city and some other areas which has caused a lot of problems for the residents. While the Prime Minister has offered a relief package of Rs 1,000 Crore for the state after his airborne survey, the picture shared by PIB on the microblogging website Twitter does not quite represent the scene.
The Press Information Bureau had first shared an unedited version of the image at around 5 of Modi looking out of a plane and later on posted the Photoshopped one. Soon after they posted the tweet with the altered image, there were several reactions, some amused and some bemused. The reactions to the tweet included further hilarious Photoshopping of the image lightening the mood over the incident overall.
