Revolutionary Kapu community leader Mudragada Padmanabham is no longer with us as he had sadly passed away from medical ailments yesterday. He was being treated at a private hospital in Hyderabad for respiratory issues and the vital parameters plummeted and he breathed his last yesterday.
His final procession is currently being held at his hometown in the presence of his followers and dear ones. Ultimately, what must have been a respectful procession has become an ugly scene, and it involves his own family members.
Incidentally, the senior politician’s daughter Mudragada Kranti had arrived at the funeral to pay final respect to her late father, and this created an ugly atmosphere.
The family members made it very clear that Kranti is not allowed to offer her respects to her father. They said that had made it very clear when he was alive and well that he does not want his daughter to be a part of his funeral procession.
As harsh as it may sound, the family members tried to object Kranti from offering her final respect to her father. But she was able to do this briefly by taking support from the local Police.
What is even more sad is that Padmanabham’s wife did not let Kranthi even touch the mortal remains of the late man. This created an ugly and sad scene at the final rites of Mudragada and could have been avoided.
People are commenting that once the individual itself is no longer with us, then there would go the ego and ideological differences. So obstructing his own daughter in the name of earlier words that were exchanged didn’t go well with social media folk.
