YSR Congress‘s social media is under severe pressure after the Arrests of its volunteers in the abuse of judiciary case. At the same time, TDP’s social media team is bustling with energy. They have even started smelling anti-incumbency as well for the first time in Jagan’s rule.
At that juncture, some social media accounts of active TDP supporters have got suspended. Some of those accounts have very high reach which bothered the supporters a lot. At the same time, a screenshot of YSR Congress’s complaint mail to Twitter grievance cell has surfaced on social media.
It has a huge list of TDP supporters’ handles complaining of abuse and fake news. While we can not verify the authenticity of the screenshots, it sounds fishy when the accounts of TDP supporters go missing all of sudden and at the same time.
The morale of TDP supporters is very low and at the same time, the party’s Digital wing, iTDP which was formed recently swung into action. The core men in the iTDP back office responded immediately and most of the important handles were restored by Twitter (again at a time).
iTDP has been started very recently by TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh to help the cadre in distress and it has come at the right time. iTDP has a website and a WhatsApp number to be available for cadre round the clock.
