Since yesterday, Andhra Pradesh politics have been primarily revolving around the appointment of Nara Lokesh as the national working president of Telugu Desam party. This might be an internal affair for the Telugu Desam, but it could prove to be consequential in AP politics in view of Lokesh’s uprising.
As one would naturally expect Sakshi media, which is the mouthpiece YCP has started to spit venom on Lokesh immediately after the recent development.
Sakshi came up with a provocative report on Lokesh by saying he received this national president post while there are other senior and well deserving leaders in the ranks. It was projected in such a way that Lokesh got this position for the only reason that he’s the son of Chandrababu.
This could be the start of many big things as Sakshi could now be expected to come up with more such derogatory stuff against Lokesh in the days to follow.
But in the meanwhile, the Telugu Desam activists on social media are already fuming on Sakshi. Their argument is that Jagan is facing criticism for cheating his own sister, Sharmila with illegitimate property distribution and has filed a case against own mother Vijayamma but Sakhi has a problem with Lokesh being appointed as TDP bigwig.
It wasn’t like Lokesh was given any administrative position beyond measure. It was more of an internal TDP thing and the possible outlay to bring up as the natural CM face descendent of Chandrababu. This is a series of events that only concerns TDP as a party and no one else beyond that.
Just because Jagan doesn’t like anyone else but him prosper even within YCP, it doesn’t mean TDP has to be as such as well, remarked an anguished TDP supporter.
