Earlier today, CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy went to the parliament to meet prime minister Modi and had a brief discussion with the BJP bigwig. While coming out of the parliament after the meeting, Jagan faced an unfamiliar situation.
Jagan was asked about his reaction to the center announcing Bharat Ratna to PV Narasimha Rao and he had an unusual reaction to the same. He asked the media to ask Vijayasai Reddy about it.
The fact that a CM asked his MP to react on a significant development like Telugu pride PV Narasimha Rao getting the highest civilian award amused the national media.
Jagan had never held a media interaction in his tenure as the CM and he skipped the one occasion he could interact with the national media about PV.
This led to a comment that if Vijaysai is the CM of AP or is it Jagan Reddy. The media personnel too looked amused by Jagan asking the media to talk to his MP on the matter.
Jagan could’ve gained positive press by speaking highly about PV Narasimha Rao getting accorded with the Bharat Ratna but his decision to give it a skip has invited trolls on social media.
