Netizens Troll Harish Rao’s Resignation Challenge

Harish Rao

Earlier today, former Minister and BRS MLA, Harish Rao, went to Gunpark and showcased his resignation papers. He challenged Chief Minister Revanth Reddy that he would resign from his post if Congress delivers all six guarantees and the loan-waiver scheme by August 15.

However, a section of netizens are trolling Harish Rao for writing a two-page resignation letter to the speaker. They said that the resignation letter in the speaker’s format should have no less than two sentences in total. They also supported their claim with a few examples.

On the other side, speaking to the media, Harish Rao said that people’s welfare is more important to him than the MLA position. “I accepted Revanth Reddy’s challenge and came to Gun Park with my resignation letter. I am giving this letter to the intellectuals. If Congress manages to deliver all six guarantees and the Rs.2 lakh loan waiver scheme by August 15, I will submit this letter to the speaker,” said Harish.

He also added that he wouldn’t even contest in the by-elections. “If Congress fails to implement these schemes by August 15, will Revanth Reddy resign? Is he ready to do that? Why isn’t he coming to Gun Park as per the challenge? He is trying to cheat people once again to get seats in Lok Sabha elections,” alleged Harish.

He stated that Congress should deliver Rs.4000 pension to elderly people, Rs.15000 “Rythu Bandhu” benefits to farmers, Rs.2 lakh loan-waiver scheme, Rs.2500 to women and Rs.500 bonus for rice-crop farmers by August 15.

He also demanded that Revanth should apologize to people for falsely claiming that he would first sign the papers of six guarantees and loan waiver scheme when he takes oath as Chief Minister on December 9.
