APCC president YS Sharmila has accused her brother, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, of safeguarding the murderers of their uncle YS Vivekananda Reddy.
On YS Vivekananda Reddy’s fifth death anniversary, a remembrance event was organized in Kadapa today. Speaking at the event, Sharmila asserted that it was members of their own family who were behind Viveka’s murder. She stated that people who were responsible for the crime had not yet been arrested.
She asked her brother Jagan to stand in front of a mirror and question himself about the injustice he has done to Viveka’s family and reminded him of the dedicated service of Viveka to the YSRCP until his last breath.
Sharmila reminded how her father YSR used to support his family members and questioned what Jagan was doing as his successor. She asked him to listen to his conscience.
Sharmila emphasised that it was Viveka’s wife Soubhagyamma and daughter Suneetha who experienced a huge loss due to his demise. She criticized Jagan for allegedly shifting blame onto Viveka’s family instead of standing in solidarity with them.
